They have frame and supporting cardboard. All sides of the puzzles are in white. Thus, you can draw or paint on every side.
You can use any color on it, e.g. crayon, color pencils, markers, water color, etc.
It is a great idea to design your own puzzles and send it as a card on Mother’s / Father’s Day, Wedding, birthday, etc.
